A 1995 Movie filmed in Scotland

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers...choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind- numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose a future. Choose life...But why would I want to do a thing like that? "

I only watched this film once in secret actually cause I was not allowed to watch it since it's a bit erm vulgar I guess. The movie's been filmed in Scotland and the story's based on Mark Renton's life, apparently the true hero of them all. His so-called friends and him are drug addicts and only Mark Renton finds escape through his own problems. His friends are liars, thieves; You name it, they actually do it. Unless you're 18 please do not watch it or at least don't get too impressed. The film is full of filthy sex, drugs, vomit, anything. It's rough out there but do you "choose life"?

I am not planning on giving you more details since the film speaks for itself. All I suggest is to either buy the book by Irvine Welsh or rent the movie. It will make you feel sick, laugh and you'd never want to mess with drugs again.
